Santorum & Blackwell claim Gay Men make Babies! How Bizarre.

It is very strange to me, Orwellian, even, as a gay man, to be blamed for unwed single mothers and their babies. And now here come two men, Rick Santorum and a guy named Ken Blackwell who do exactly that. Do they not realize that gay men don’t make babies? Apparently not. Or do they think that heteros fathers are abandoning their women and babies because of a gay couple down the block or across the nation? It is mind numbing what these two men say. Simply astonishing.

First, let’s look at some hypocrisy of Santorum. He is quoted as saying:

“After three years of Barack Obama, America is now looking for a president who will help restore America that believes in her people rather than big government intrusion,” Santorum said in a statement teasing the speech. “If Barack Obama has taught us anything, it’s that experience matters.”

This from a man who served one term in the Senate? – that’s his experience. His other experience is an unholy obsession with my life.

that’s the link to the verbiage.

Well, I do declare, this man Santorum wants to bring big government intrusion to my life in an astounding way – why, he wants to outlaw me, and arrest me, and convict me, and incarcerate me forever – that’s not big government? What the hell is his definition of “Little” government? He’s calling for an outright police state against me for heaven’s sake. The man is a loon, a theocrat and a hypocrite wrapped up into one. He comes to Occupy my very bedroom – and this is “Little” government? Man alive.

What billions of dollars will he have to spend to do this? I can’t imagine tripling or quadrupling the current prison population will be inexpensive. Or does he simply mean to shoot us or something? Who knows anymore. Surely we won’t turn hetero with his wondrous new law outlawing gay folks, that’s for sure.

Then he brings us this somewhat true thing:

“You cannot have limited government if you have broken families because someone has to pick up the pieces, and the ones who pick up the pieces are the taxpayers,” he told an audience of about 50 people, the Des Moines Register reported.

Yes, Ricky, and we gay folks are the taxpayers who are picking up the tab for your hetero romps. We’re not creating the problem – we’re paying for it. And we pitch in and help, when allowed, by adopting the excess kids that would languish in the hands of government – but you, Ricky, want to stop even that – and let the government pick up the tab. What a friggin’ idiot.

And then me mutters:

Santorum, considered the Republican field’s most socially conservative presidential candidate, outlined 16 policy initiatives he would back if elected president during the debut of his “Faith, Family and Freedom Tour,” including undoing the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” the recently ended law that for 18 years banned gay and bisexual troops from serving openly, and instructing the Department of Justice to defend in court the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the 1996 law that bars federal agencies and the military from recognizing the legal marriages of gay and lesbian couples.

Yes, well, and whom does he blame for these broken families? Gay men! Amazing. What the hell do I have to do with this? How did I cause any broken families? He’s out to destroy my life because some heteros had kids out of wedlock? He’s repeatedly called from my incarceration – this will make all the hetero guys marry the women they knocked up? Is he out of his mind? Yes, the answer is yes.

And the Des Moines Register didn’t have the gumption or brains to narrow down the glaring absurdity that gay men couldn’t – whether married, unmarried, in relationships, or single, or even sex crazed screw-bunnies – conceivably have conceived any of these children over whom it might rightly be fretted. If he and his media inquisitors can’t see that gay men have absolutely Zero to do with hetero problems I really feel sorry for him and them. How anyone could be this stupid and nasty is beyond my ability to comprehend.

And then there’s this brightwad named Ken Blackwell, a man I never heard of until I saw this:

DOMA is “critical” because it “also protected states from being forced to recognize the counterfeit marriages that have been legalized by a few liberal states,” Blackwell argued.

Obama has previously endorsed the bill that would repeal the law, which is expected to clear a Senate panel later this week. However, the issue is a non-starter in the House, where its speaker, John Boehner, a Republican from Ohio, has approved a budget of up to $1.5 million to defend DOMA in court.

The bill would “offer true marriage the same ‘respect’ President Obama showed to the body of Osama bin Laden – a hasty burial at sea after summarily being put to death.”

“That death will mean the impoverishment of more women and more children,” Blackwell wrote. “True marriage is the best anti-poverty program ever devised.”

Oh, forget the fact that our “friends” the Democrats didn’t bother to repeal DOMA when they had the clear majority. They did nothing on the issue; never mentioned it, in fact. Forget the fact that Obama claims he’s “evolving” on the issue – hell, all America is evolving on the issue, he ain’t special. Forget the fact that millions of gay men will all of a sudden gush like idiots over the “repeal” of DOMA when no such thing will take place – since the Democrats waited for a the Republicans to take the House and thus nothing be done on the matter. This is just clear pandering for votes. Alas, too many gays will buy into it. And few gays will ever see the mush for what it is. And Santorum and Blackwell, in their stupidity and nastiness will chase those millions of gay men into the arms of Obama.

Let us overlook the nastiness of “counterfeit” and the comparison of gay marriage to anything with Osama Bin Laden – that bit of nastiness is par for the course with these people. We’re to be blamed for everything, and compared to everything bad. Why, just yesterday someone in a comment on a website made some bizarre comparison to the Occupiers demanding the destruction of America while camping out in squalor down at the city park – to Proposition 8 protests, which were so polite the Tea Party might have enjoyed them. I, of course, immediately commented – Don’t compare 40 years of peaceful gay political protests with millions of participants all over the world in over 2,000 pride parades with that rabble. Oh no you won’t.

No, let us look at his last line – gay men will kill marriage and thus there be more poverty for women and babies. Oh really? How so? How could this be possible? What do we have to do with making women pregnant? The chief complaint against us is that we make no babies and marry no women – and now we are to be blamed for the excess of unmarried mothers? Wow! And the hetero men who did the bedding – are they to be exonerated? Clearly so – for the cause of the hetero baby problem is clearly laid at the feet of gay men – and the heteros who did the bump & grind go Scott free. Let him blame the responsible parties – not us.

And since gay marriage is, to these two guy’s great glee, is “illegal” – well, no, it’s just “not recognized” – in all but six states now – and there is already this impoverishment of women and their children as their hetero dads go on to new fields to plow – how do gay couples cause this? How are we involved?

There’s simply no way to make the logical leap – for there is no logic to this. It’s just “blame gays for everything!” Not unless one thinks that gay men are impregnating women by the millions before running down to the bar to smooch Johnny later could one possibly come to such a conclusion as these two men make. It’s phantasmagorical and pure delusion.

And these two want to be “Leaders”? They can’t be dog catchers, for they look for cats among the canines.
