Rick Santorum must hate my mother

At this place: http://www.bilerico.com/2011/05/rick_santorum_still_wants_to_talk_about_gays_and_a.php

… one can see Rick Santorum contradict himself and knock himself out rhetorically within 1:34. It might be the quickest knock out in a debate ever. It’s breathtaking.

What the man said is that America is founded on Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness, and that’s true. Then in the next steamy breath of foaming stupidity he says gay folks cannot have life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness, for if we did, then no straight person can have any. He basically said the happiness, life and liberty of heterosexuals is predicated on the continuing denial of gay folks having happiness, liberty and life. And I think, is the man this stupid? Does he really think this could possibly be true? I look at my own block, and see a gay couple owning a home a few doors down, and a lesbian couple at the beginning of the block, and of course, there’s me and the old man, who are not a couple, but just good buddies, and then every other house seems to be filled with happy heteros of divers sorts. And we six gay folks on the block seem to have absolutely Zero Effect on all the happy heteros. Nor they on us, not that I can see.

And so how is our existence here on my street a threat to anything? It can’t be said with any reality, but only through a miasma of stilted belief that we are a threat because Santorum says so. He just declares it, and so it must be true, he guesses. He can have no more proof, evidence or reality, nor a statement by any of my neighbors that we six gay folks on the block impact them whatsoever, except in the most positive way by minding our own business and going about our lives and keeping the grass mowed and our houses in tip top shape. What could this man be talking about? Where does he get this idea? And if he is so blind as to not see his error on this, what else is he so blind about? What could he think about anything if he’s delusional in a certifiable way on the most fundamental reality that gay people have nothing to do with any happy or unhappy straight people anywhere within a 1,000 miles of us, or the house next door. He’s delusional. And someone should tell him so, and lead him to the funny farm if he persists.

Even more amazing, after calling for life, liberty and happiness of any who are not gay, he avoided saying here in this public debate in South Carolina I think it was – what his true goal for gay people is. Oh, he’s all for us being outlawed and arrested and incarcerated. At a cost of what billions I don’t know. And why he would want to remove us six gay folks from my block and leave empty houses I don’t know. And what will he do with our possessions while we’re in jail? Are they to be seized and sold off to pay for our upkeep? Will he ever let us out? And if the sex is outlawed on the outside of the prison walls, of what purpose is putting us all together on the inside of the walls? This is punishment? This weird Club Med on the public dime? And if we smooch in prison while I guess you’ll add a month or two incarceration for every infraction. We’ll never get out for good behavior, I’m sure.

Really, Rick, what is your practical solution to the problem you have in your fetid mind? If you say you want to outlaw us – and arrest us – do you think this will get rid of the gayness? Will you force open our eyes so we can read the Bible passages you think might change us? Will you make us all wear hair shirts or something, to tickle us into heterosexuality? Will you spend billions on berating us in boot camps to stomp the sissy out of us? It’s something I can’t get my mind around. How will you, Ricky, do this? I can’t wait to hear. Truly, inquiring minds want to know.

Still, for you, Ricky, the finest compliment: www.spreadingsantorum.com

Good luck sir, in your genocidal ways.

But what really bugs me, besides the stupidity, besides the ducking in public debate his true position on the matter – arrest and remove us from society in a genocidal frenzy of hate and bile – while wrapping himself in the American dream – what must he think of my mother for having presented the problem to the nation? Here I am, my mother’s son, without a doubt. I got the long form birth certificate to prove it for sure. No birther nonsense for me, for sure. And so my mom did bring the gay guy into the world, and here I am. And so what must Santorum think of my mother, the day before Mother’s Day? He must truly hate her for having had the utter nerve and audacity to bring a threat to the Republic right here to my street. And the other mom’s, five of them, I’d guess, given the improbability of no mom’s at all for these six of us gay folks on my block, they too must be dangerous people intent on bringing down the Republic by introducing a Fifth Column of “domestic terrorists” as we’re called by Santorum’s buddies Perkins and Sprigg, Gallagher and Fischer and others too sickening to name.

Say it, Ricky – I ask, do tell – what do you think of my mother? Of our mothers, and fathers, and all the family members who love and cherish us just as we are? What do you say to them? “How dare you create a gay person!”? Is that what you say, Ricky? What a cad. What a shadow of a man. What a piss poor thinker. What a man in such utter delusional denial that it is unfathomable to me that he should be allowed out of his house without supervision. He’s quite the whack job for sure.

But Ricky, you have the right to be an idiot, if it makes you happy. But don’t pick on my mother. It’s unAmerican and Anti-Family. You sir, wouldn’t know a family value if Jesus hit you upside the head with it. Get a grip man, gay folks aren’t destroying families. If any hetero families are being wrecked it’s by themselves. Do not make the guilty innocent and shift the blame to the guiltless. It’s disgusting; guilt by non-association – quite a bizarre legal theory. And the man’s a lawyer?

Ah, just for the fun of it, one more time – www.spreadingsantorum.com – what a cad; he deserves the worst trouncing on the hustings as can be mustered. But trust me on this, Ricky, you outlaw us and we’ll demand to be arrested. You outlaw us and we’ll present a civil disobedience the likes of which will curl your hair. You get to the White House and you might not ever come out of it without a gay protest surrounding the place. For at that point, Ricky, we’ll have no choice. You simply have declared civil war on us, and we shall have to defend ourselves. It’s a fight for our lives. You’ll have to shoot us, Ricky. Just shoot us dead. How many of us you’ll kill before you’re taken away under the 25th Amendment for having lost your mind, we’ll find out soon enough.
